Staycation – Goodwood Park Hotel

Because my brother-in-law was getting married there, We took the chance to have a staycation as the daddy would be busy helping out and we wanted to be nearby and it was good also because the kids would be able to be put to bed as fast as possible after the wedding dinner.

It was just a one night staycation without much time to spend using the hotel facilities. We checked in at the usual 2pm.

The room was not very big, but it was classy and clean. We asked for a cot for our 1.5 year old and got a playpen instead. It worked just as well 🙂

The bathroom was very posh and spacious. With marble finishings.

This is the small side table that we had. The view from the window was the swimming pool.

The bub immediately took his nap. Tip: We always bring his personal pillow along for trips to make him feel more “at home”. He doesn’t have a “chou chou” so I guess this doubles up as it.

When he was up, he got to play in the tub. He loved it so much that he requested to play in it again the next day before we checked out. Tip: Bring your bubble bath along, and CUPS! 🙂

We then had to head for the wedding dinner at the Min Jiang Restaurant.

My takeaway was this really nice family photo we took with us all dressed up (as we seldom do). Can’t tell that I’m about 7 months pregnant then right? 🙂
